We are excited to have you join our Capoeira family! We will share four unforgettable days of learning, friendship, music and celebration. This year’s event is especially meaningful as we welcome our honored special guests, Mestre Barrão and Mestre Barrãozinho. Their lifelong dedication to preserving and sharing the art of Capoeira has inspired generations of capoeiristas worldwide. Their knowledge, leadership and passion make this a truly unique opportunity for students of every level.

This year, our Batizado ceremony will include a powerful performance – ” A Musical History of Capoeira – from Chains to Freedom”. This original presentation explores Capoeira’s journey from its roots among enslaved Africans in Brazil to its evolution into a celebrated symbol of resilience, cultural identity and freedom. Through the music of Mestre Barrão, Capoeira and dance, audiences will experience how music has always been the heartbeat of Capoeira and the voice of a people whose spirit could never be broken.
